Our sales terms and conditions are set out below please read carefully before ordering Items from us.

All Anvil Cottage Crafts items are crafted by hand and are meant to look uniquely handmade and rustic.

We use a mixture of traditional and modern skills and tools creating distinctive items in our own style, we clean the shoe removing dirt and other contaminants ,nails and rust ,finishing the items in a clear lacquer unless customers request a colour.

Sending your own horse shoes

If you would like us to make one of our items out of your own horse shoes this is something we do offer, We recommend you send your shoes to us via a tracked or signed for service, You send your own shoes at your own risk and we cannot accept any responsibility for shoes lost in transit.

We will dispatch your order made from your Horseshoes back to you via Recorded delivery as agreed between us and the buyer, however we cannot be held responsible for any item lost in transit.


We can make personalised items out of yours/our horse shoes or we can offer engraving on the items, Please take care when ordering personalised items as we cannot be held responsible for incorrect wording, if we spot what we think is a mistake we will of course get in touch, however it is your responsibility to check for errors prior to payment.

Returns Policy

If for any reason you are unhappy with your items please contact us directly via the way you made your order within 14 days of purchase , This could be via website, email, Facebook, Instagram or Esty this is so we can confirm your item is entitled to an exchange or refund.

Please be aware that where items are returned the buyer is responsible for the item and its return cost to us, We advise to use a signed for tracking delivery service to ensure its safe return, We at Anvil Cottage crafts will not be held responsible for any item lost during the returns process.

Once we have received the item we will proceed with the refund less any postage costs incurred by us, If you have chosen to receive an item in exchange, We will contact you with a tracking number once the alternative item has been posted out to you. 

Faulty items

If your item has a personalisation fault as a result of our error or is received damaged on arrival, please get in contact immediately with us via the same process as your purchase and we will get the matter resolved for you.
